WHAT IS NETWORKING?
Networking is the design, architecture and implementation of electronic pathways that convey information, or data - which is simply a term for information that is encoded.
When networking is successful, information flows easily and speedily among people and places. The end user gets the information that is needed, in real time, in a way that is simple to use and work with.
Networks can be built within businesses (intranet) and from businesses to employees working at home, and from businesses to consumers (extranets).
By now, your company already has extensive networks in place. But are they working the way you want them to? If you are experiencing logjams, misrouted information, employee confusion or dissatisfaction, or redundancies in data, you may need a network or system-wide improvement.
